TORN BETWEEN

TWO LOVERS

Love Not the World

1 John 2:15 - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world, if any man love the world, the love at the father is not in him.

And Be Not Conformed to This World

Rom. 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: bit be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Not the Spirit of the World

1 Cor. 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the tihngs that are freely given to us by God.

The God of the World

The Cares of This World

The Cares of This World

Mat. 13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

Mark 4:19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

Gain the Whole World

Luke 9:25 For what is a man advanraged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

Do the Nations of The World Seek After

Luke 12:22-32 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.  The life is more than meat, and the body more than raiment. Consider the ravens; for they neither have storehouse nor barn: and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If ye then be not able to that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind, Doe all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.  But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.  Fear not, little flock for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
