Christ is the Head of Man

1Co 11:3

1 Cor. 11:3But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Eph. 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

The Role of the Husband

Eph. 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Col. 3:19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

1 Pet. 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. 

The Role of the Wife

Eph. 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

Eph. 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives beto their own husbands in every thing.

Col. 3:18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

Titus 2:4-5 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

1 Pet.3:1  Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;

1 Pet. 3:5 after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:

1 Cor. 14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.


The Role of the Children

Exo. 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Deut, 5:16 Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Psa. 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Prov. 4:1 Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.

Prov. 5:7 Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.
